This is the provocative title of a lecture given by Klaus Schuster on the 28 January 2010 at the Funds Congress in Mannheim/Germany. Ironic tips such as "Gamble your bank's money away!" or "Treat your bank like a self-service store!" had the people in the jam-packed room smiling ... but also got them thinking.

In his book „11 Managementsünden, die Sie vermeiden sollten“ („11 Management Sins You Should Avoid“), the author Klaus Schuster humorously and using real-life examples describes the most frequent errors executives keep repeating. Since September, the Austrian by birth has been out on a reading tour through his home country. In his readings at bookshops across the country he explains, what exactly executives have to do differently in order to improve the way they deal with their employees. 22.04.2009 - Spring Conference 2009 of the Management Association of Slovenia in Portorož
Klaus Schuster spoke to around 200 Slovenian managers at the Grand Hotel Bernardin in Portorož about managerial habits that undermine success. In his speech he named the 10 sins of management: 1. Work ‘til you die! 2. Don’t tell anyone what you have in mind! 3. Hire the wrong people! 4. Do everything yourself! 5. Don’t sign anything! 6. Demotivate your employees! 7. Don’t enjoy your job at all! 8. Speak Chinese! 9. Manage faster than you can think! Klaus Schuster finished his speech with one of the most popular sins in our modern world of management: 10. Only employ women to make the coffee!

03.03.2009 - KSMC’s new business partner
In February 2009 Klaus Schuster Management Consulting became official partner of the Austrian company process4.biz, which is specialized for the development of Microsoft Visio based software tools covering the fields of Business Process Management (BPM), Process Controlling, Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) and IT Governance. The partnership gives KSMC the license to offer process optimization on the basis of process4.biz and brings it into a position of the only company in the Adriatic region with such exclusive rights. 02.09.2008 - Between November 9-16, 2008 HDFC India (www.hdfc.com) is organizing a week-long residential programme "Housing Finance Management 2008".
HDFC, our partner in international housing finance trainings, is India’s first retail housing finance company and is currently one of the largest originators of housing loans in the country. Over the past decade, HDFC has emerged as a strong financial organization in the Indian capital markets. HDFC periodically organizes international training programmes which bring together participants from a number of countries. A specialized pool of experienced HDFC personnel conducts the programmes, thereby bringing practical aspects and real life experiences to a classroom environment. 03.07.2008 - ICAAP Business Breakfast in Ljubljana
On July 3, 2008 Klaus Schuster Management Consulting and zeb/ Schierenbeck organized the first Business Breakfast for banks in the Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana. At the event 18 guests, the Board Members and professionals together, in their respective areas of competence, discussed current market topics and shared with us their experiences in Basel II, ICAAP projects in Slovenia and in neighbouring countries. Marcel Sober and Ian Krojs as our guest speakers from Raiffeisen Slovenia presented the way how the bank recently implemented the ICAAP project with support from zeb/ Schierenbeck.
